Position: Senior Program Manager
Entity: San Juan Bay Estuary Program (Estuario)
Location: San Juan, PR

Description:
“Estuario is seeking a dynamic and experienced full-time Senior Program Manager to provide leadership, support, and coordination for the Estuario in a broad range of projects and programs. The Senior Program Manager is the organization’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.”
Responsibilities:
-Manages day-to-day operations of the organization necessary to ensure that the organization achieves its objectives.
-Works closely with the Executive Director to provide senior-level support for program implementation and program design.
-Maximizes efficiency and productivity through continual process analysis and internal collaborations.
-Manages program managers by supporting them in the development of their internal work/action plans on an annual basis and overseeing the progress of projects.
-Establishes, communicates and implements sound policies, procedures, tools, and systems for the effective and efficient delivery of projects.
Qualifications:
-MA in Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related fields.
-Other non-scientific degrees will be considered when combined with experience in the above-mentioned scientific fields.
-Over 10 years of experience working in non-profits, specifically those that work in water quality restoration and conservation ecosystem restoration, water resources, coastal restoration, or similar areas.
-Ability to envision and convey the organization’s strategic future to the staff, board, volunteers and donors.
