Description:

“The BoatUS Foundation, in partnership with NOAA Marine Debris Program, is offering grants to remove abandoned and derelict vessels (ADVs) from coastal and marine areas of the United States. Funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, up to $7.5 million will be awarded to various projects, with individual grants ranging from $50,000 to $1 million. Priority will be given to projects benefiting underserved, low-income, or tribal communities, demonstrating strong community support, and providing benefits to marine animals, habitats, local coastal communities, or local economies. Projects that include outreach and education activities aimed at preventing ADVs will also be prioritized.
