Salary: $6,250 per month (up to $75,000 per year)

Description:

“The Bullard Fellowship supports individuals pursuing research in forested ecosystems, including forest ecology, tree physiology, soil biogeochemistry, microbial ecology, conservation, public policy, and more. Fellowships are available in two durations: Short-Term (2-3 months) and Long-Term (6-12 months). Fellows are expected to reside at Harvard Forest or Harvard University and actively engage with the community. The program aims to enhance research at Harvard Forest and foster long-term collaborations with other parts of the University.

Requirements:
– Applicants should have established themselves in academia, public service, or the private sector, with substantial accomplishments.
– Preference is given to those with doctoral degrees obtained at least two years prior to applying, with a strong publication record.
– Proposals in the arts and environmental humanities are rare and must show a strong connection to Harvard Forest research.
– International applicants should consider additional costs and logistics, including visas and health insurance.”
