Position: Grant Writing and Management Specialist
Entity: Protectores de Cuencas Inc. (PDC)
Location: Hybrid (in-office/remote, depending on place of residency)
Salary: $100,000-$120,000 annual base salary
Deadline: As soon as possible, rolling
Description:
“The Grant Writer will be responsible for identifying, defining, and developing funding sources to support PDC’s programs. The role includes the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to various funding agencies, as well as grant management activities and report submission.
Essential Functions:
– Research and identify potential funding sources aligned with PDC’s goals.
– Create high-quality grant proposals.
– Develop and submit grant proposals on time.
– Track grant deadlines and coordinate with staff and external partners.
– Develop and manage grant budgets.
– Maintain a database of grant opportunities and documents.
– Provide guidance on allowable expenses for each grant.
– Regularly update the Executive Director on grant status.
– Assist with additional project tasks as needed.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or higher preferred).
– Minimum 5 years of experience as a successful grant writer.
– Experience with federal grant applications, submission, and management.
– Strong writing and verbal skills in English (Spanish preferred).
– Highly organized, with strong computer (Microsoft 365) and database management skills.
– Valid driver’s license and availability for occasional travel.
– Experience in developing and managing grant budgets.
