Description:
“The Vannatta Lab is seeking Master’s students interested in various aspects of disease ecology, including research on parasites, pathogens, ecological stoichiometry, within-host community ecology, host behavior and physiology, and ecological modeling. Students can also develop projects aligned with their interests. The lab’s overarching goal is to better understand disease transmission and ecological impacts across biological scales.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minimum cumulative and biology GPA of 3.0, or
– Bachelor’s degree in another discipline with at least 20 credits in biological sciences courses (GPA 3.0 or higher in these courses), or
– Applicants who meet most but not all criteria may be considered with the support of a faculty mentor.
