Program: Research Assistantship in Applied Forest Ecology and Silviculture

Description:
“Clemson Silviculture/Ecology Lab is seeking one Ph.D. student interested in developing innovative silviculture practices for climate-smart forestry (CSF). Specifically, you will study how existent and novel silvicultural systems affect the capacity of southern forests in climate change mitigation and/or adaptation, based on which CSF practices can be developed for future implementation.”
Eligibility:
-BS and/or MS in Forestry, Natural Resources, Plant Biology, Plant/Forest Ecology, and Environmental Sciences.
-A past record of research experience and scientific publication is desirable.
-Ability in quantitative skills and computer application is advantageous.
