Description:
“S.A.L.Tours is seeking engaging and knowledgeable tour guides to lead walking tours of historic Old San Juan and nature hikes in El Yunque National Forest. The role involves storytelling, public engagement, safety monitoring, and sharing in-depth knowledge about Puerto Rico’s culture, history, and ecosystems. Guides will provide enriching experiences to visitors from around the world.
Requirements:
– Category 4 or higher Driver’s License
– Transportation Bureau License (Operator Authorization for Commercial Passenger Transport)
– Tour Guide License
– First Aid Certification (preferred)
– Strong public speaking and storytelling skills
– Bilingual (English & Spanish highly preferred)
– Experience in hospitality or tourism (preferred)
– Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
